Review - Azahara Playa

Puerto Colon We are frequent visitors to the Azahara Playa complex in Tenerife. We have stayed in many apartments and come for several months each Winter. The best floor to be on is the top floor as it has the best panoramic sea views. But if you choose your apartment carefully, even some on the 3rd floor have very good sea views if they are the ones at the opposite end to the pool. It surely is a wonderful thing to be able to get up in the morning and immediately see the beautiful view: so relaxing. Then armed with a cup of coffee and a croisant, out to the balcony to enjoy the sun. I wish I was still there!

The pool now has the security fence around it which is great for families with small children. The complex has never looked better and is very well maintained.

The surrounding area is very good. The beach is just a 2 minute walk. You can walk in either direction along the promenade. Within 5 minutes you get to the centre of Los Cristianos, passing the San Telmo area on the way with its bars and restaurants. Then in the other direction you are into the posh bit of Las Americas, which is also well served with amenities.
