Meson Castellano is a Spanish restaurant located on El Camison in Playa de las Americas. It is a short walk from our apartment on
Azahara Playa. The restaurant comes highly recommended and there is a host of
excellent reviews on the internet. The most notable thing about this restaurant, and please don't let it put you off, is that there is no menu displayed
outside the restaurant or even inside and no price list. The waiters will ask you what you like seafood/meat and whether you want a 3-course meal or a
variety of tapas. They will then explain that is on offer. If you have an open mind, it is well worthwhile, as the food is excellent. The wine cellar is
also very fine, even if just ordering the house wine.
The restaurant is not cheap, but not over-priced either. A lot of the local Spanish eat here, which is always a good sign. The waiters speak good English here
and they are also very helpful and attentive.
